Tom is an unsung hero of the pro-life family in Allen County and For decades, has planned and organized the Annual Allen County March for Life in January that began in 1974. The local march has grown over the years to become the largest event in Indiana marking Roe V Wade.

Tom is also the reason we have a Memorial every year in Allen County remembering the children who have lost their lives to abortionists across the state. Tom tells us that the idea for the memorial service came to him through the prompting of the Holy Spirit one morning while shaving. It broke his heart that each week babies were being killed and tossed out like garbage, many never given a second thought. He decided to plan an event that made the lives of these children visible by displaying an American flag for each baby killed and personalize the children by naming each one them. So Tom planned the Memorial for the unborn at the site of the memorial for the aborted babies at the Catholic Cemetery. This event has continued for decades on the first Sunday of October.

Tom and his wife Judy are natives of Fort Wayne. They have three children Kathy, Jacki  and Rick and have 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
