“When I walked in to the room I was sure I’d be able to dissect and debunk any argument she might conjure. I went in confident that my pro-choice ideals would at least get some people questioning their preconceived notions of the immorality of abortion. I’m happy to report, I was wrong. Abigail was able to eviscerate all of my predispositions regarding this topic. I didn’t have a single question that she didn’t have an answer to. Even my seemingly most solid arguments were explained to the point where I had nothing left to say. I was prepared for exclusively Christian arguments that relied on things like souls and the fact that god has a plan for babies immediately after conception, amazingly she defended the pro-life position from a secular standpoint which was very important to me. Using Christian arguments only influence Christians and have no effect on non-believers, so taking it from a worldly standpoint is essential. At one point I resorted to attempting to catch her on technicalities and when I confronted her with these she was unfazed and clarified it for me. Abigail really impressed me; I’m not one to have my thoughts disproved and my mind changed. She is one of the first adversaries I’ve encountered able to alter my way of thought. She is very intelligent and more than capable of influencing even the most devout pro-choicer. You guys are lucky to have her!”
